libdvbv5-0 software package provides Libraries to control, scan and zap on Digital TV channels, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdvbv5-0
libdvbv5-0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdvbv5-0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdvbv5-0 *
You will get with libdvbv5-0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
